Him To Create Eclipse Tinting
Eclipse Tint, founded by Scott, a hands-on dad and lifelong car enthusiast, Eclipse Tinting was born from a simple but powerful mission: to be more present for his family and give back to the community he loves — Harrah, Oklahoma.
After years of working long hours in the service industry, Scott realized what truly matters most: time with loved ones and making a difference right in his own backyard. So, he took a leap of faith, poured his experience into a small, family-run business — and Eclipse Tinting came to life.
From the start, it’s been about more than just window film. It’s about helping neighbors beat the Oklahoma heat, protect their interiors, and add a little extra style and comfort to their lives — one window at a time. Whether it’s your daily driver, your dream car, or the home you’ve worked so hard for, Scott treats every project like it’s his own.
Scott brings with him a proud family history of entrepreneurship and customer care. His family established the Dawson Lumber Company in Shawnee, OK, back in the 1940s — a business that remained a staple in the community until the early 1990s.
Scott grew up at the lumber yard, learning the values of hard work, fair pricing, quality materials, and treating customers like friends. These roots run deep — and you can still feel them in the way Scott approaches every tint job today.
A Legacy of Service
In a treasured old photo of the family business, you’ll find Scott’s grandfather, Fayne Dawson, standing tall near the center-left of the company truck logo, and his father, Harold Dawson, proudly beside him in a white t-shirt. That legacy of honest work and tight-knit service lives on at Eclipse Tinting.
